Position Overview

This contract role is for a Design Expert working remotely with compensation ranging from $80 to $150 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop precise, task-specific grading benchmarks for real-world design outputs, including brand identity systems and guidelines, campaign visuals, and packaging concepts.
• Evaluate both AI-generated and human design samples against these established criteria, providing thorough written explanations for each score awarded.
• Ensure scoring is consistent, transparent, evidence-based, and defensible to maintain reproducibility.
• Incorporate feedback from senior evaluators and efficiently revise evaluations as needed.
• Work independently and collaborate asynchronously to meet deadlines and enhance AI model accuracy.

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in graphic, brand, or visual design roles.
• Background in top-tier design studios, creative agencies, or senior design roles at leading consumer or technology companies.
• Strong expertise in typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color theory, composition, and brand system development.
• Excellent written communication abilities.
• Detail-focused, consistent in judgment, and comfortable receiving evaluations of one's decisions.
• Preferred: Previous involvement with AI training, evaluation, or human-data related projects.
