About the Opportunity

This opening is for a Visa Operations role based in Gurgaon at the Deputy Manager / Manager level, reporting to the Director - Corporate Channel.

About the Function

The Corporate Channel business helps organizations manage travel and event needs with better control and efficiency. Its flagship offering, MyBiz, is a self-booking platform that supports business travel with live bookings, policy adherence, and cost savings. More than 59,000 companies currently use MyBiz to organize corporate travel.

Role Overview

The selected professional will be responsible for managing visa operations end to end for clients. The role covers document handling, immigration compliance, coordination with embassies and consulates, client escalation management, and supervision of an operations team to ensure visa services are delivered accurately and on time.

Client Handling and Coordination

  • Serve as the main contact for clients on visa procedures, supporting paperwork, and related queries.
  • Guide clients on immigration rules, travel prerequisites, and compliance changes.
  • Manage escalations and resolve client concerns in a professional manner.

Team Leadership

  • Oversee, coach, and train visa processing executives and coordinators.
  • Distribute work effectively and track team output and quality.
  • Carry out routine process checks and performance evaluations.

Visa Operations Management

  • Handle corporate visa processing across multiple countries and destinations.
  • Prepare and verify visa applications along with all supporting documents with accuracy.
  • Track timelines closely to meet embassy and consulate requirements.
  • Monitor application progress and maintain MIS reports for operations.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all work follows immigration laws, embassy rules, and company standards.
  • Protect the confidentiality and security of client records and personal data.
  • Stay current on updated visa rules, travel advisories, and global immigration changes.

Process Improvement

  • Identify gaps in operations and put corrective improvements in place.
  • Create and refine standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
  • Assist with automation and digitalization efforts in visa processing.

Qualification and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related discipline is required. The role calls for 4 to 8 years of experience in visa processing, immigration services, or travel operations. Prior experience managing a team is preferred. Exposure to tourist and business visa work is expected, along with familiarity with Schengen, UK, USA, Canada, UAE, and APAC visa processes. Experience in travel agencies, immigration consultancies, or corporate mobility services will be valuable.
