About the Role

We are seeking a proactive individual skilled at customer interaction to join our team as a Virtual Patient Support Specialist in a pharmaceutical contact center. This role focuses on offering inbound support and assistance primarily to patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and clinic personnel with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and accurately to incoming calls, emails, and other customer requests.
  • Develop positive rapport by actively listening and understanding the specific needs and concerns of each customer.
  • Address customer issues effectively or escalate them to the relevant internal teams when necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive and precise documentation of all customer interactions and transactions using contact center software.
  • Follow all relevant pharmaceutical contact center policies, including strict compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum educational qualification is a High School diploma or equivalent; preference given to candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, call center environment, or similar roles.
  • Strong communication abilities both verbal and written, capable of clearly conveying complex information to varied audiences.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-moving, high-pressure work setting.
  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills focused on customer-oriented solutions.
  • Flexibility to work varied or non-standard hours as required.
