Role overview

This position supports beach guests by delivering food, drinks, and amenities, keeping the service area organized, and helping create a smooth luxury guest experience in an outdoor beach setting.

Key duties

• Bring food, beverages, and guest amenities to beach visitors quickly and with accuracy.
• Help set up sunbeds, umbrellas, towels, and other beachside equipment for guests.
• Keep the beach zone clean and tidy, including sunbeds, tables, walkways, and service points.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams so orders are delivered without delay.
• Track beach supplies such as towels, amenities, and service tools, and report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Remove used dishes, glassware, and waste from the beach area throughout the day.
• Spot maintenance problems or safety concerns and escalate them immediately.
• Present a polished appearance and maintain a positive, guest-friendly attitude at all times.
• Follow hotel rules, hygiene expectations, health and safety standards, and service procedures.
• Support team members during busy periods and take on additional tasks assigned by management.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant has prior waiter or waitress experience, preferably in fine dining or luxury hospitality. Strong communication and interpersonal ability are important, along with the capacity to stay calm under pressure and maintain service quality. The role also calls for flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, good English fluency, and the ability to work outdoors in beach conditions.

Additional qualifications and working conditions

• Experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, or beach/pool operations is considered an advantage.
• Food safety and hygiene certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of wine and food pairing is beneficial.
• Excellent memory and close attention to detail are required.
• The role demands physical stamina, including standing for long periods and carrying heavy trays.
• Experience handling high-value transactions and maintaining discretion is expected.
• Additional language skills are an asset.
• The job is primarily outdoors in a beach environment.
