Job Overview
Operating across countries outside the U.S., Bank of America Asia-Pacific focuses on corporate and investment banking along with securities products. Business strategies are shaped globally by product group and client segments, yet local economic conditions, customer needs, and regulations necessitate country-level business governance.
The COO team in Singapore supports Country Executives throughout Southeast Asia to meet governance responsibilities. This role provides leadership, guidance, and strategic oversight toward the company’s goals and performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a consultative partner translating business performance metrics into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and control procedures.
- Proactively deliver analytics that address important business needs and facilitate growth.
- Collaborate with enterprise control functions such as GTO, CFO, Compliance, and Risk to ensure regional businesses operate effectively according to control policies, regulations, and risk frameworks.
- Design and maintain efficient processes for ongoing business reporting packages.
- Gather and analyze data from internal and external sources to enhance business performance measurement, identifying new meaningful metrics.
- Lead Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities including execution and documentation updates.
- Support the creation and deployment of regional metrics systems and dashboard tools.
- Partner with other COO teams on important projects and initiatives.
- Take ownership of governance routines across Southeast Asia and legal entities.
- Assist with managing regulatory exams and both external and internal audits, ensuring quality submissions and managing exam logistics.
- Maintain accurate and timely records related to service and outsourcing arrangements under COO supervision.

- Comprehensive knowledge of financial services industry.
- Advanced analytical abilities relevant to identifying business opportunities.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex information to broad audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Co-Pilot; skilled with querying, reporting, and data analysis tools.
- Comfortable navigating complex and matrix organizational structures.
