Job description
Role overview
Our client, a global investment firm, is hiring a strategic and execution-oriented Vice President to lead technology transformation across the Corporate organization. The role sits at the intersection of business and technology, supporting the evolution of functions such as HR, Finance, and Legal after a successful digital transformation within the IT team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technology leader who can turn business priorities into scalable, technology-enabled operating models.
Employment details
This is a full-time position. The contract length is not specified. Compensation is listed at $200,000 to $250,000 per year, with bonus eligibility. The expected start date is ASAP. The role is hybrid, requiring 4 days per week onsite in San Francisco or New York City.
What you will do
- Work with Corporate leadership and Technology teams to shape and deliver a multi-year technology and data roadmap aligned to firm priorities.
- Improve consistency, scalability, and efficiency by standardizing and simplifying Corporate processes.
- Own implementation efforts for platforms and tools centered on automation, artificial intelligence, and data enablement.
- Coordinate and energize cross-functional teams to achieve measurable results and support successful adoption of new solutions.
- Create frameworks that convert data into practical insights, dashboards, and decision-support tools for Corporate functions.
- Lead change efforts by promoting a technology-first mindset and helping business teams adapt confidently through transformation.
Ideal profile
This opportunity is suited to a senior professional with a strong history of leading technology strategy, digital change, product, or consulting engagements, preferably in financial services or a similar environment. The person should be equally comfortable shaping strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute in a dynamic setting.
Experience and skills
We are looking for an executive-level communicator who can explain technical ideas and business value clearly to non-technical stakeholders. The role calls for strong working knowledge of modern data, automation, and analytics capabilities, along with experience using tools and platforms such as Salesforce, Tableau, ADP, and ERP systems. A collaborative approach, a strong interest in innovation, and curiosity about how artificial intelligence and emerging technology can improve operations are important.
