Job description
Role overview
CSC Corptax is looking for a senior operator to work closely with the President and help connect strategy with execution. The position is centered on turning priorities into action, keeping leadership aligned, and making sure important initiatives move forward with speed and accountability. The role can be based in Wilmington, DE or performed remotely within the U.S., and the schedule is Monday through Friday.
The business provides enterprise tax technology for U.S. and global compliance, provision, and planning. Its unified tax platform brings together tax data and workflows with AI-supported automation and analytics to improve accuracy, visibility, control, and strategic decision-making.
What this role focuses on
- Acting as a trusted partner to the President and helping shape priorities, leadership meeting agendas, and executive decisions.
- Running annual and quarterly planning efforts with business leaders, including priorities, OKRs/KPIs, ownership, sequencing, and trade-off decisions.
- Building the operating cadence that keeps strategic programs moving, such as portfolio reviews, dashboards, escalation paths, and accountability routines.
- Leading cross-functional initiatives that do not naturally sit within one department and ensuring they reach measurable outcomes.
- Improving operations through AI, automation, analytics, and process redesign, while working with Product, Engineering, and the AI team on adoption and impact.
- Supporting growth-related projects, including partnerships, adjacent products, acquisitions, diligence, business cases, and integration planning.
- Influencing results across Finance, HR, Engineering, Product, Sales, and Operations through strong matrix leadership.
Working style
- You gather enough context to weigh the trade-offs, then make a decision and keep moving.
- You create momentum by closing loops, clarifying next steps, and preventing work from stalling.
- You are comfortable making directional choices in uncertain situations and refining course as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 10 to 15 years of professional experience.
- Proven ability to own outcomes in a SaaS or software setting and deliver measurable results.
- Experience in accounting, fintech, ERP, or GRC software is especially valuable.
- Strong practical understanding of AI automation and the ability to turn ideas into workflows, adoption plans, and measurable business impact.
- Solid financial judgment, including comfort with business cases, unit economics, and investment trade-offs.
- Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems by diagnosing root causes, framing options, and driving decisions.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to the Wilmington, DE headquarters.
Preferred background
- MBA or another advanced degree is an advantage.
- Strategy consulting experience is beneficial when paired with hands-on operating experience.
- Experience building or scaling a function while deciding priorities, product direction, and execution is highly valued.
- Exposure to M&A transactions and post-merger integration is a plus.
- Background in FP&A, corporate development, business operations, or a Chief of Staff-type role is preferred.
