Overview
We are looking for a senior executive to lead and advance our organization's strategic planning, financial modeling, and analytics functions. This pivotal position collaborates closely with senior leadership, translating overarching company strategies into precise, high-quality analytical models and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct development, governance, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise-wide financial and strategic models, encompassing long-term planning, valuation frameworks, and scenario analyses.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in crafting and fine-tuning complex models, especially for critical or ambiguous strategic projects.
- Head advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives, including dashboards, performance monitoring, and KPI frameworks, to facilitate timely decision-making.
- Work directly with the CEO, CFO, and other executives to influence corporate strategy with data-centered perspectives.
- Lead modeling and analytical efforts for significant decisions such as mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, pricing strategies, and new business ventures.
- Develop and manage scenario planning processes, evaluating business resilience under diverse economic and competitive situations.
- Collaborate extensively with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and leadership teams to align data, assumptions, and strategic goals.
- Convert ambiguous strategic challenges into structured quantitative analyses that inform top-level decisions.
- Oversee integration of financial, operational, and market data into unified, scalable modeling systems.
- Lead and potentially build a high-performing team, establishing standards for modeling precision, transparency, and usability.
- Deliver clear, actionable recommendations and insights to executive leadership and board members.
- Champion modernization of modeling and analytics capabilities through automation, advanced analytics, and BI tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 to 15 years in corporate finance, strategy, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated history of influencing executive decisions through insightful analytical contributions.
- Extensive hands-on experience with financial modeling, valuation, and strategic enterprise-level analysis.
- Proficiency with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power BI and programming languages or tools like SQL or Python.
- Capability to operate effectively both at strategic and tactical levels, combining leadership with direct execution.
- Experience leading complex initiatives like M&A, corporate transformations, or long-term strategic planning.
- Strong leadership skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
- Preferred qualifications include an MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional experience.

Additional Information
This role requires on-site presence at the Louisville, Colorado campus.
Preference is given to existing Gaia subscribers.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is between $250,000 and $300,000 USD annually.
