About Tia

Tia is pioneering a transformative healthcare model designed specifically for women, increasing accessibility while elevating outcomes and the care experience. Their approach, called "Whole Woman, Whole Life," integrates multiple disciplines including primary care, gynecology, mental health, dermatology and wellness, through a combination of in-person and virtual methods. This holistic approach considers women’s health throughout all stages of life, aiming to deliver preventive care that is more affordable, higher quality, and patient-centric.

Role Overview

The Vice President of Clinical Operations is a pivotal hands-on leadership role responsible for scaling Tia’s clinical services across multiple states. This role spans management of brick-and-mortar locations and virtual care, ensuring operational excellence and market expansion. Key duties involve strategic translation into actionable operating plans, refining capacity and scheduling, and improving access, quality, and experience for both patients and providers, alongside financial performance oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and long-term growth of Tia’s clinics and virtual care platforms across various locations, meeting volume, quality, patient/provider satisfaction, and financial goals.
  • Develop foundational clinical operating systems including scheduling models, staffing, and standardized workflows to ensure consistent delivery across sites and care types.
  • Conduct operational assessments to identify inefficiencies and implement effective standards, routines, and accountability mechanisms across markets.
  • Optimize scheduling, capacity planning, throughput, and patient flow through data-driven analysis and targeted improvements.
  • Maintain ongoing performance monitoring with real-time dashboards, leading regular reviews and corrective plans to uphold operational discipline.
  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable operational leaders to achieve measurable results and maintain high standards across all clinics and care modalities.
  • Work cross-functionally with clinical leadership and corporate teams to ensure cohesive execution of clinical strategies and business objectives, representing Operations in executive and board-level discussions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Over 10 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations managing multiple sites or regions.
  • Proven success with ambulatory, urgent care, primary care, women’s health, virtual and in-person clinical operations, especially in underperforming environments.
  • Expertise in building standardized operational workflows, SOPs, staffing, scheduling, and accountability systems to enhance clinical efficiency and quality.
  • Strong command of outpatient financials including provider utilization, patient throughput, revenue, and margin management.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve access, operational efficiency, patient/provider experience, and financial outcomes using scalable models.
  • Experience leading operational cadence with routine performance reviews and data-driven management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL and BI tools preferred.
  • Effective communicator capable of translating complex operational details into clear strategic insights for clinical and executive leadership.
  • Proven capacity to influence cross-functional teams and foster accountability in matrixed environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, ambiguous healthcare setting with a patient-centered approach.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary is competitive, ranging from $250,000 to $300,000 annually, with eligibility for up to a 30% performance-based bonus and equity in the company. Benefits include unlimited vacation, free membership, stock options, a one-time work-from-home stipend, monthly phone and internet reimbursements, comprehensive medical coverage, 401(k), high-end laptop, and travel support for team events.
