Role Summary
The Vice President of Revenue Management for the Pacific region will spearhead the revenue strategy for nearly 400 managed and franchised hotels. This senior leadership position is pivotal in driving sustainable revenue growth, nurturing emerging revenue leaders, and advancing the development of the Centre of Revenue Intelligence (CRI) – a centralized revenue management platform – across the Pacific.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement regional revenue strategies to enhance key performance indicators such as revenue generation indices, revenue per available room (RevPAR), contributions from loyalty programs, and optimal channel distribution.
- Achieve consistent market share expansion through intelligent pricing models, accurate forecasting, effective inventory controls, and streamlined distribution channels.
- Oversee the expansion and integration of the Centre of Revenue Intelligence (CRI), including shaping its operational model, commercial offerings, and team expertise.
- Lead and motivate revenue management teams within both managed and franchised hotels to foster accountability, teamwork, and ongoing enhancement.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, operations, and analytics teams to produce market intelligence and predictive data supporting strategic planning.
- Drive continuous improvement in revenue management systems, promote automation, and embed data-driven methodologies.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with hotel owners and key collaborators, serving as a trusted advisor in revenue and business performance.
- Identify key portfolio opportunities for revenue maximization and improved returns to owners.
- Manage regional training, talent development, and succession planning initiatives, notably through the Revenue Management Campus (RMC) leadership program.
- Ensure governance and performance frameworks align with the MEA APAC standards for consistent execution of revenue principles.
- Lead organizational change efforts to enhance commercial capabilities and cement revenue management's role as a strategic business partner.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- More than 10 years of expertise in Revenue Management, including extensive leadership over regional or multi-market portfolios.
- Proven experience overseeing a broad, multi-brand portfolio with significant scale.
- Demonstrated success in creating and executing profitable revenue strategies on large portfolios.
- Experience working within both managed and franchised models and understanding their distinct commercial frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of revenue management platforms, distribution mechanisms, forecasting techniques, and business performance metrics.
- Experience in leading high-performing teams and mentoring future leaders.
- Excellent skills in managing key stakeholders including owners, executives, and operational teams.
- Strong analytical, presentation and high-level communication skills suited to C-suite engagements.
- Strong capability in driving change, fostering innovation, and influencing results within complex matrix organizations.
- A strategic thinker combined with the ability to execute effectively.
