The Vice President of Product Management will lead Mastercard’s Security Solutions organization products, specifically focusing on Ethoca’s Alerts and First Party Trust (FPT) products, which aim to reduce fraud and chargebacks by enabling issuers and merchants to resolve issues proactively, thereby enhancing customer experience and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide the ongoing development and strategic direction of the Alerts and FPT products to maximize their market value and effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary advocate and representative for these products with internal sales teams and key merchant and card issuer clients globally.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle including profit and loss management, market segmentation, pricing strategies, and commercialization plans.
- Maintain strong communication channels with go-to-market teams, customers, and partners through regular regional meetings and innovation workshops.
- Lead pilot projects and product launches regionally while establishing continuous feedback mechanisms and improvement processes including detailed product launch playbooks.
- Evaluate competitor solutions continuously to ensure Mastercard’s products offer differentiated features and sustained competitive advantages.
- Build compelling, data-supported business cases to secure investment for significant growth initiatives.
- Mentor and inspire a high-performance product team, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in payments, card fraud, dispute resolution, e-commerce, or financial services is preferred; strong technology product management expertise is essential.
- Ability to adapt quickly and execute with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
- Strategic and analytical thinker who challenges teams to foster continuous improvement.
- Deep commitment to product management best practices with meticulous attention to quality and process orientation.
- Proven track record in translating strategy into actionable outcomes.

Compensation and Location
The position is based in North York, Ontario, Canada, and is full-time onsite. The compensation range is approximately CAD 200,000 to CAD 320,000 annually, subject to experience and qualifications, with eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program.
