About the Role
We are collaborating with a premier alternative investment and financial technology firm looking to hire a Vice President specializing in Private Markets Strategy for their Investment Strategy division. This role is ideal for a private markets expert who excels in detailed research and can effectively convey complex investment ideas to financial advisors, wealth management clients, and distribution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and shape the firm's perspectives on private equity, venture capital, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, secondaries, and other alternative strategies.
- Contribute to portfolio construction and private market allocation analyses.
- Monitor industry trends, fund flows, and investor adoption patterns within private markets.
- Create meaningful investment viewpoints and transform research findings into market commentaries, white papers, presentations, advisor education materials, webinars, conferences, and strategic discussions with clients.
- Collaborate closely with teams across Investment Strategy, Distribution, Product, Due Diligence, Research, and Client Solutions.
Candidate Qualifications
- More than eight years of professional experience in private markets, alternative investments, investment strategy, research, or similar investment functions.
- Comprehensive knowledge across a broad spectrum of private market asset classes.
- Proven track record in producing top-tier investment research and thought leadership.
- Capability to distill complex data and investment concepts into clear, pragmatic messaging.
- Strong presentation skills with previous involvement engaging advisors, wealth managers, institutional investors, or distribution teams.
- Familiarity with industry-standard platforms such as PitchBook, Preqin, Bloomberg, FactSet, or comparable research tools.

This position is distinct from traditional investment underwriting or product sales roles. It uniquely combines private markets research, portfolio strategy, advisor education, and commercial engagement efforts to support business growth.
