Headquartered in Singapore Corporate Office, the group is seeking a dynamic and driven Vice President for Pre-opening and Operations Support to join the growing team.
Key Responsibilities
This executive role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and focuses on four main areas: Operations Support, Pre-opening, Quality & Brand Standards, and Global Procurement.
Operations Support
- Lead ongoing enhancements in operational processes and product offerings by establishing, governing, and reviewing brand operating standards for products and services.
- Ensure brand standards and quality assurance are consistently upheld across all Pan Pacific properties, delivering uniform guest experiences and service consistency aligned with design vision.
- Optimize financial performance including gross operating profit (GOP), cost management, labor productivity, and revenue flow optimization while safeguarding brand integrity and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Commercial teams on budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvements aligned with corporate and ownership goals.
- Leverage group-wide expertise to assist properties and facilitate sharing of best practices within the organization.
- Support development and implementation of brand product and service plans for existing and new hotel developments.
- Aid the COO in refining brand operating standards, including key service touchpoints and brand differentiators.
- Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, People & Culture, and Technical Services to ensure operational and brand standards are uniformly implemented.
Operational Financial Performance
- Conduct monthly analyses of operational and financial metrics to develop strategic action plans with leadership and property teams to reach targeted goals.
- Drive financial results across existing and pre-opening hotels emphasizing GOP maximization, cost efficiency, and revenue growth.
- Partner with Finance and Commercial departments to prepare and execute budgets, forecasts, and improvement initiatives.
- Track key financial indicators such as flow-through rates, departmental profitability, labor productivity, and cost ratios.
- Identify and implement operational efficiencies to increase margins without sacrificing guest experience or brand standards.
- Support asset management and stakeholder communications via clear performance reporting and strategic advice.
Pre-Opening
- Lead pre-opening activities for all Pan Pacific, PARKROYAL COLLECTION, and PARKROYAL hotels and resorts ensuring comprehensive and aligned plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendor partnerships to facilitate smooth project execution within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Ensure operational systems, infrastructure, and standards are established for successful handover to operations teams.
- Monitor project progress proactively to mitigate risks and address critical issues promptly.
- Maintain financial discipline throughout pre-opening phases including budget control and procurement alignment.
- Conduct post-opening reviews to capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement for future projects.
Quality & Brand Standards
- Oversee a strong quality management system including audits and guest feedback mechanisms to enhance satisfaction and ensure brand compliance.
- Enforce consistent application of brand standards across all properties and pre-opening projects covering guest experience, design, service delivery, and operations.
- Collaborate with brand, design, and operations teams to update standards in line with market trends and brand positioning.
- Promote accountability at the property level to exceed internal quality targets, guest satisfaction, and compliance objectives.
Global Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
- Provide strategic leadership over global procurement and sourcing ensuring brand alignment, cost effectiveness, and operational readiness.
- Work with procurement and project teams to support timely sourcing of operating supplies and equipment (OS&E) and furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E).
- Help develop preferred supplier programs and standardized procurement frameworks leveraging group scale.
- Promote procurement transparency, compliance with company policies, and audit standards.
- Champion sustainable and responsible sourcing aligned with the Group's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts.
Additional Duties

Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years in senior management roles at corporate offices within Singapore or the Asia Pacific region.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- Experience managing luxury hotels and resorts in Asia.
- Proven operational expertise within established hotel groups in the Asia Pacific market.
- Skilled in collaborating with senior leadership to deploy corporate-wide strategic and operational enhancement plans.
- Strong understanding of operational finance, strategic planning, and performance optimization.
- Experience managing hotel pre-openings and rebranding initiatives.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the capability to define and uphold standards for upscale and luxury hospitality environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
- Professional demeanor embodying confidence and assurance.
