That market includes the MCP Accelerate program, MCP’s Solution Studio, and the Biopharma, Med Device, and Payor programs. The role works closely with the COO to align market direction with broader organizational priorities.

What you will do

  • Shape and run strategies that grow the client base across the solution developer market.
  • Partner with the sales organization to set targets and drive delivery against them.
  • Spot and pursue new business, alliance, and partnership opportunities that strengthen market reach.
  • Adapt sales and marketing approaches to suit the needs of each target segment.
  • Work with leadership to build a complete go-to-market plan.
  • Lead the design and rollout of packaging and pricing approaches for Mayo Clinic Platform’s Solutions Studio.
  • Coordinate with product, technology, and services teams so offerings match customer needs and market direction.
  • Create ways to capture customer input and feed it into packaging and product development.
  • Collaborate with marketing to build strong, differentiated positioning for solution developer programs.
  • Work with finance and legal teams to confirm the viability of new programs.
  • Own budget planning and management to support sustainable growth.
  • Build a market intelligence capability to track trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Represent Mayo Clinic and the MCP portfolio of products and services in a credible and effective way.
  • Communicate technology- and data-driven solutions clearly to advance healthcare.
  • Set measurable goals and KPIs for the sales enablement function.
  • Oversee sales collateral, presentations, and training resources that help the sales team engage customers well.
  • Guide the use of CRM platforms, sales automation tools, and related systems to improve sales workflows.

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, along with an MBA.
  • At least 10 years of experience in healthcare across sales, product, marketing, and operations.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product development and agile delivery practices.
  • Strong customer strategy capabilities.
  • The ability to move strategy into execution successfully.
  • Clear communication skills for working with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to explain technology initiatives to business leaders outside the technology function and to external partners and customers.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop others.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare technology and emerging technology opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and benefits

The role is exempt and benefits eligible. The starting base salary range is $327,000 to $491,000, with final pay depending on experience, FTE, internal equity, and external market data.

  • Medical coverage with multiple plan choices
  • Dental coverage through Delta Dental or a reimbursement account for flexible coverage
  • Vision coverage with an affordable national-network plan
  • Pre-tax savings options including HSA and FSAs for eligible expenses
  • Competitive retirement benefits

Schedule and work arrangement
