About the role
This senior leadership opportunity is for an accomplished operations executive to oversee manufacturing activity across two U.S.-based facilities in Kansas. The position carries complete profit and loss responsibility and reports directly to the Americas leadership team. The right candidate will bring deep operational leadership experience, a strong record of improving profitability and performance, and the ability to guide culture change within a metal manufacturing setting.
Key responsibilities
- Take full ownership of profit and loss performance across two manufacturing locations.
- Improve operational effectiveness, output, and profitability at both sites.
- Lead, coach, and hold site leadership teams accountable for results.
- Build and enforce manufacturing standards, operating processes, and governance structures.
- Work closely with supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Develop and implement initiatives that reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Promote a strong culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to business expansion through capacity planning, capital investment, and workforce planning.
- Serve as an important member of the Americas senior leadership group.
Candidate profile
- At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations, with direct P&L accountability.
- Required background in metal manufacturing, such as machining, stamping, fabrication, welding, foundry work, or a similar area.
- Evidence of improving profitability and operational performance in measurable ways.
- Experience managing large and complex organizations of 500 or more employees.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to manage senior customer relationships.
- Confident, resilient, and effective in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build trust, drive accountability, and develop people.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
