Role overview
This is a full-time remote leadership position focused on directing the complete supply chain function. The role covers demand planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory control, with responsibility for building and executing strategies that support product availability, cost performance, and strong service levels in global markets.
What you will do
You will guide cross-functional teams, review performance metrics, refine sourcing approaches, and strengthen supplier partnerships. The position also involves improving planning workflows so supply can better match business forecasts, enhancing logistics networks, shortening lead times, reducing operational risk, and driving ongoing process improvements. You will work closely with executive leadership to support long-term growth, resilience, and supply chain capability building.
Qualifications
- Deep experience in supply chain management and demand planning, including leadership of complex international supply chain operations.
- Background in procurement and vendor management, with capability in strategic sourcing, contract discussions, and supplier performance improvement.
- Hands-on knowledge of logistics and distribution, with the ability to shape and upgrade transportation, warehouse, and delivery networks.
- Strong command of inventory management, including policy setting, stock optimization, and balancing cost, risk, and service demands.
- Senior-level leadership experience in directing cross-functional teams and delivering strategic initiatives, ideally within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Data-driven decision-making ability, with experience using ERP platforms, planning systems, and supply chain analytics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, suited to a remote, global working environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Exposure to continuous improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma, along with awareness of sustainability and supply chain risk management practices.
