Position Overview

The Vice President of Strategic Operations Management is a senior leadership role responsible for connecting corporate strategic vision with effective operational delivery. Reporting typically to the CEO, COO, or President, this role steers strategy implementation, refines operational frameworks, encourages business synergy, and boosts organizational effectiveness to drive sustained growth and competitive strength.

Key Duties

Develop and execute corporate strategic operation plans, annual goals, and actionable roadmaps.
Translate strategic directives into detailed operational activities and measurable targets.
Implement tracking systems to monitor strategic progress ensuring key objectives are met.
Create and maintain strategic operational management systems and governance frameworks.
Streamline processes, improve workflows, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
Lead enterprise-scale strategic and transformational projects with established governance to manage scope, resources, budgets, and risks.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), objectives and key results (OKRs), and conduct comprehensive performance analysis to inform leadership decisions.
Coordinate interdepartmental strategies to optimize resource distribution and operational synergy while addressing challenges.
Drive continuous operational enhancements and advocate methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile to encourage organizational excellence.
Champion digital transformation initiatives enhancing ERP, CRM, and other operational platforms with data-driven approaches.
Build and mentor a high-caliber strategic operations team and cultivate leadership and a culture centered on execution and improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Operations Management, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
Preferred MBA, EMBA, or Master’s degree focused on Strategy or Operations.
Over 20 years of experience in strategic and operational management roles.
Between 8 to 15+ years in senior management positions such as VP of Operations or Business Operations Director.
Background in strategic operations within large firms, multinationals, or fast-growing companies.
Proven expertise in corporate transformation, process optimization, operational system development, and strategy deployment.
