Role overview
This opportunity is for a Vice President of Sales based in New York, NY, with a hybrid working setup. The role offers a total on-target compensation package in the range of $220,000 to $250,000, plus additional earnings potential.

As the business continues to expand and invest in priority markets, it is looking for a senior sales leader to strengthen performance within one of its core portfolios.
The position calls for a leader who combines strong commercial judgment, disciplined execution, and credible team leadership. The right person will help sales teams improve their approach, win larger deals, and exceed targets consistently.
What the role will focus on
- Directing and developing a sales team made up of professionals with different levels of experience so they can regularly surpass commercial goals.
- Improving revenue performance through hands-on coaching, reliable forecasting, strong pipeline management, and clear accountability for results.
- Supporting important client conversations and working with sales teams to identify, advance, and close opportunities faster.
- Creating and rolling out go-to-market plans that support long-term and scalable growth.
- Working closely with client success and delivery functions to strengthen retention, grow accounts, and improve customer results.
- Driving disciplined CRM adoption, more accurate forecasting, and consistent sales process execution.
- Owning forecasting and business review routines while spotting risks, patterns, and areas for expansion.
- Promoting a culture centered on continuous improvement, team development, and strong commercial standards.
Experience and background needed

- 7–10+ years of experience in B2B commercial roles across information, media, events, or marketing solutions.
- Background selling into Financial, Investment, or Wealth Management sectors.
- Demonstrated success leading and building high-performing sales teams with direct accountability for revenue.
- Strong skills in coaching, managing performance, and applying sales methodology effectively.
- Experience overseeing forecasting, pipeline quality, and data-driven commercial decisions.
- Ability to influence across functions and bring stakeholders together around shared business objectives.
- Sound commercial understanding of pricing, packaging, customer retention, and growth planning.
- A builder-oriented mindset with a focus on structure, improved outcomes, and talent development.
