Overview
The Vice President of Sales & Marketing at GoAssetWorks serves as the primary commercial executive for AssetWorks Facilities. This role drives revenue growth, broadens market presence, and leads demand generation and sales efforts for the portfolio including AssetWorks Core, WebCheckout, Q Ware, SoftChalk, and future acquisitions. The VP integrates sales and marketing to form a unified, high-performing commercial engine with a focus on clear business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and lead an overarching commercial strategy across all product lines, ensuring alignment of sales priorities and marketing investments toward the most lucrative revenue prospects.
- Accountable for consolidated revenue performance, including bookings, pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, and predictable commercial operations.
- Develop a structured sales framework featuring methodologies, routine operational check-ins, deal evaluations, account planning, and coaching designed to boost productivity, win rates, deal speed, and forecast precision.
- Oversee marketing leadership by setting strategies for positioning, demand generation, product marketing, branding, campaign focus, and pipeline contribution aligned to revenue goals.
- Manage commercial integration plans for acquisitions or tuck-in businesses to harmonize sales processes, CRM utilization, customer transitions, messaging, market approach, reporting, and operational rhythms.
- Lead the adoption and refinement of commercial systems such as CRM strategies, pipeline governance, revenue insights, marketing analytics, and AI-assisted tools for data-driven performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with Product leadership on pricing, packaging, market positioning, go-to-market launch plans, and initiatives that expand market reach for new products.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing commercial team including sales and marketing leaders, building leadership capacity, performance management, and succession planning.
- Contribute actively as a senior leadership team member, participating in strategic planning, cross-functional execution, and portfolio-wide business priorities.

- Revenue Growth: Meeting bookings targets, revenue increases, and contribution from expansion segments.
- Pipeline Creation: Achieving sufficient pipeline coverage, marketing-generated pipeline, return on investment from campaigns, and efficient lead conversion.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive experience leading sales and marketing teams within multi-product software, SaaS, or recurring revenue environments.
- Strong expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, sales processes, revenue operations, demand generation, and applying commercial analytics.
- Proven track record of consistent bookings growth through disciplined execution and robust operational rhythm.
- Excellent executive communication skills for engagement with customers, leadership, stakeholders, and board members.
- Strategic thinker with strong operational discipline able to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable results.
- In-depth knowledge of vertical market software, SaaS business models, recurring revenue mechanics, and multi-product portfolio complexities.
- Ability to prioritize across diverse product portfolios and customer segments while focusing on revenue outcomes and resource allocation.
- Strong coaching skills to elevate standards, develop leadership, address performance issues, and cultivate accountability culture.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation, pipeline analytics, forecasting tools, and AI-enhanced commercial productivity platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
- At least 10 years of progressive commercial leadership in software, SaaS, or vertical market recurring revenue businesses.
- Experience managing managers and large commercial teams with accountability for approximately 13 direct reports.
- Demonstrated history of managing multiple product lines with distinct market segments and tailored go-to-market strategies.
- Skilled in building scalable sales and marketing processes, establishing operating cadences, dashboards, and leadership routines.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working within portfolio companies similar to Volaris or Constellation Software.
- Familiarity with vertical market software segments like higher education, facilities management, K-12, or public sector.
- Background in integrating and scaling commercial functions post-acquisition or tuck-in expansion.
- Strong collaboration experience with Product and Finance on pricing, packaging, revenue forecasting, and investment decisions.
