Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Vice President of Sales opportunity in the Greater Cleveland area, with two available leadership roles supporting Cincinnati and Indianapolis. The position is responsible for driving sales growth, leading market expansion, and developing strong customer relationships in alignment with CFBank’s boutique banking model. The role requires close coordination with commercial lending and private banking teams to grow revenue, strengthen the portfolio, and improve overall client experience.
Key Responsibilities
In this leadership role, you will oversee sales strategy, guide team performance, and help shape the bank’s growth plans across target markets. You will manage sales teams, establish clear goals, coach and develop team members, and keep a close watch on pipeline health and portfolio performance. The position also calls for building new business opportunities, deepening existing relationships, refining sales processes, tracking market activity, and providing regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in sales leadership and account management, along with a history of leading successful teams and delivering revenue outcomes. A solid background in banking or financial services is preferred, especially in residential mortgage lending. You should be comfortable handling sales operations tasks such as forecasting, reporting, pipeline oversight, and process improvement. Success in business development, lead generation, and closing complex commercial or private banking opportunities is important, as are strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities. The role requires the ability to work on-site, collaborate across functions, and represent the organization professionally in the Cincinnati and/or Indianapolis markets. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline is required, while an advanced degree or relevant certifications would be an advantage.
