Overview
Govig Healthcare Group is seeking a Vice President of Sales for a forward-thinking, rapidly expanding senior living organization that manages a portfolio of upscale senior living communities across the Western United States. This leadership role calls for a strategic and hands-on sales executive to spearhead occupancy growth and drive revenue performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales strategy and execution for luxury senior living communities throughout the Western U.S.
- Collaborate closely with community sales teams to increase occupancy and optimize revenue streams.
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with the organization’s long-term goals.
- Evaluate sales metrics, market trends, competitive positioning, pricing strategies, and conversion rates to uncover growth opportunities.
- Coach and mentor sales leaders at community levels, ensuring accountability for results.
- Support critical initiatives including new community lease-ups, acquisitions, and transitions.
- Work in partnership with executive leadership to formulate strategic growth plans and enhance overall portfolio outcomes.
- Coordinate efforts with operations, marketing, and leadership to maintain organizational alignment.
- Travel regularly within the portfolio to provide on-site leadership and operational support.
- Promote a culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the sales teams.
- Identify and implement improvements in sales processes and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
- Proven progressive sales leadership experience in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or other service industries focused on customers.
- Track record of managing multi-site sales teams and achieving occupancy or revenue growth targets.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, business analytics, and assessing market opportunities.
- Experience developing pricing models, revenue optimization, and value-based sales approaches.
- Ability to coach and develop high-functioning sales professionals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable balancing executive-level strategy with hands-on field support.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory.
- Preference given to candidates residing in the Western United States.
