Position Overview
The Blue SkAI is looking for a visionary Vice President of Product to guide and manage all product management and development activities. This role demands establishing a clear product vision, strategic direction, and a roadmap to deliver educational offerings focused on Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, AGI, and Psychology. The VP will ensure these products are innovative, user-oriented, and support the company’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and clearly communicate a product vision and strategy aligned with The Blue SkAI’s organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate a strong product management team emphasizing innovation and collaboration.
- Manage the complete product lifecycle including ideation, development, launch, and ongoing refinement.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, design, marketing, and content teams to guarantee successful product execution.
- Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and steer product strategy.
- Engage with users and stakeholders for feedback to ensure product alignment with their needs.
- Prioritize features and initiatives according to business objectives, customer demands, and market trends.
- Analyze product metrics and performance data to inform decisions and continuous enhancement.
- Ensure product deliveries meet deadlines, scope, and budgetary constraints.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to advocate for products and advance the mission.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields; MBA or higher qualifications are preferred.
- At least 10 years of product management experience, including 5+ years in leadership positions.
- Demonstrated success in launching innovative products.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills to inspire a diverse workforce.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of product development methods and tools.
- Experience in educational or nonprofit sectors is highly advantageous.
- Deep passion for education and knowledge in Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, AGI, or Psychology is beneficial.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities within a fast-paced and dynamic context.
