Job description
Role overview
This senior leadership role is focused on shaping and running procurement for a jewelry business. The position is accountable for end-to-end sourcing strategy, supplier development, cost discipline, procurement execution, delivery coordination, and quality alignment so the company can maintain dependable supply, protect margins, and stay competitive in the premium jewelry segment.
Strategic procurement leadership
You will create medium- and long-range procurement plans for the jewelry division and refine both local and international supplier networks. A key part of the role is building a procurement framework that supports the company’s expansion in domestic and overseas markets.
Procurement operations and supply management
The role owns sourcing for jewelry inputs and finished goods, including gold, diamonds, gemstones, and accessories. You will set up and improve supplier management practices covering selection, evaluation, audit, and ongoing collaboration. The job also requires stronger buying efficiency, better negotiation outcomes, and a reliable, traceable procurement workflow.
Supplier development and market expansion
You will identify and build relationships with high-quality suppliers and processing partners across global jewelry markets. The expectation is to develop durable strategic supply partnerships and broaden international sourcing channels and resource networks.
Product, cost, and cross-functional coordination
This position works closely with design, production, and supply chain teams to align material choices and process solutions. You will help improve product cost structure, strengthen profit margins, and confirm that purchasing standards match product positioning and quality expectations. Coordination with warehousing, quality inspection, and logistics teams is also essential to ensure materials flow smoothly into production plans and that procurement and delivery processes remain standardized.
Risk, compliance, and control
The role includes monitoring supply risk, commodity price volatility, supplier compliance, and product quality. You will also establish audit practices and continuous improvement measures to keep procurement controls effective over time.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring 10 to 20 years of experience in jewelry, luxury goods, or supply chain procurement, including at least 5 years in senior procurement leadership at Director level or above. Strong knowledge of jewelry raw materials and the global supply market is essential. Experience with international procurement or global supply chain management is an added advantage.
What the company offers
The organization offers executive-level compensation and benefits, long-term career growth prospects, and the chance to lead procurement in a fast-growing international jewelry company. This role also provides an opportunity to contribute to global procurement strategy development.
