Vice President of Operations (West Coast)

Role Overview

This senior leadership position is responsible for directing operations across several ophthalmology practices on the West Coast. The role is centered in Los Angeles, California and combines remote work with frequent travel, estimated at 50% to 75%.

Compensation

The pay range for this direct full-time hire is $175,000 to $220,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the financial performance of clinical practices, including budgeting and workforce planning.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with physicians while supporting day-to-day practice operations.
• Work closely with teams across functions to help expand and improve the practices.
• Manage patient experience efforts and oversee marketing-related operations.
• Roll out leadership-driven initiatives and ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
• Applicants should bring 12 years of progressive leadership experience managing multiple locations or offices.
• Strong leadership capabilities and sound business judgment are essential.
• Working knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance expectations is needed.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills are expected.
