Vice President of Operations

Role Overview

We seek a proactive and strategic Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize daily operations for a rapidly expanding land-based gaming enterprise based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This executive role involves developing a scalable operational framework, enhancing cross-departmental collaboration, and instituting efficient workflows to sustain continued growth. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in the gaming sector, excels at building robust operational teams, and can translate complex business requirements into streamlined, sustainable processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies that facilitate business expansion, ensure high-quality service delivery, and support long-term scalability organizational-wide.
• Establish, improve, and harmonize core operating procedures to boost efficiency, enforce accountability, and maintain consistency across various teams and sites.
• Manage logistics, procurement, and warehouse operations to guarantee smooth inventory management, vendor performance, and fulfillment.
• Analyze entire workflows to detect operational inefficiencies, fortify communication channels, enhance quality assurance, and enforce cost control measures.
• Recruit, train, and lead operational personnel, defining clear team structures, setting performance goals, and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with top management to ensure operational priorities align with corporate objectives, market conditions, and growth plans particular to the gaming industry.
• Implement reporting mechanisms, key performance indicators, and operational controls that enable transparency and support data-driven decisions.
• Lead transformational initiatives aimed at system and process innovation to establish a more resilient platform for expansion.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years’ progressive leadership experience in operations, including senior oversight of multi-functional operational domains.
• Deep familiarity with the land-based gaming industry, encompassing operational methodologies, compliance standards, and sector-specific market factors.
• Track record of successfully constructing or revamping operational structures, processes, and teams in dynamic, growth-oriented environments.
• Proven expertise in managing operations, logistics, purchasing, and warehousing.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance workflow efficiency, control expenditures, and implement scalable operational practices within complex organizations.
• Strong leadership coupled with excellent communication skills, effective in influencing stakeholders and guiding cross-functional teams.
• Analytical acumen with experience leveraging operational metrics and performance analytics for strategic business decision-making.
