Vice President of Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead the Western Region for a prominent telecommunications infrastructure company. This executive-level, full-time position is based in Mesa, Arizona and involves direct oversight of telecommunications network construction projects across California, Nevada, and Utah. The role entails managing a regional team of roughly 40 employees and supervising a business operation that generates over $25 million annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulating and executing strategic plans for regional growth and operational excellence.
• Managing profit and loss accounts to ensure financial health and business viability.
• Driving business development initiatives to secure new contracts and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Overseeing project execution with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Maintaining strong relationships with carriers, utilities, and municipalities to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years in progressive leadership roles within telecommunications infrastructure, underground utility, or heavy civil construction sectors.
• At least 7 years of experience leading operations across multiple markets with full financial accountability.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles related to Percentage-of-Completion (POC) and Work-in-Progress (WIP).
