Vice-President of Operational Excellence

Role Overview

The Vice-President of Operational Excellence is a senior leadership position working fully remotely, accountable for developing and implementing strategies that enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability throughout the company. This role directs fundamental operational processes, sets benchmarks for performance and ongoing improvement, and collaborates with executive leadership to ensure operations align with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational metrics regularly to discover areas for improvement.
• Lead cross-departmental initiatives aimed at optimizing workflow efficiency, minimizing risk, and boosting output.
• Work closely with product development, technology, finance, and customer service teams to integrate operational best practices across supply chain and delivery functions.
• Cultivate and mentor high-performing operations teams while overseeing governance frameworks.
• Promote a culture emphasizing operational excellence and accountability throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive knowledge in Operations Management and Operational Excellence, with a history of driving large-scale operational improvements.
• Experience in Manufacturing Operations and Management, applying structured process methods to technology and service-driven contexts.
• Proficient in Supply Chain Management, focusing on end-to-end process optimization, vendor relations, and risk reduction.
• Strong ability to leverage data analytics, KPIs, and dashboards to evaluate performance, identify issues, and inform decisions.
• Experienced in leading and mentoring diverse, distributed teams with excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Proven success implementing continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, capable of conveying intricate operational strategies to varied audiences.
• Holds a bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a similar discipline; advanced degrees or certifications like PMP or Six Sigma Black Belt are advantageous.
• Prior experience working in technology, SaaS, or blockchain sectors is favorable, especially within fully remote or internationally dispersed teams.
