About the role
This executive-level opportunity is for a seasoned supply chain leader to direct worldwide supply chain functions from a remote location in the United States. The position is focused on strengthening operational performance across planning, sourcing, logistics, inventory control, and supplier coordination while supporting business expansion and delivering strong customer value.
The organization is looking for someone who can design a robust, scalable global supply chain model, improve end-to-end performance, and lead talented teams with a clear focus on efficiency, innovation, and long-term impact.
Key responsibilities
- Shape and implement the company’s global supply chain direction so it supports corporate priorities and long-range growth plans.
- Oversee the full supply chain lifecycle, including demand forecasting, supply planning, sourcing, stock management, logistics, distribution, and supplier execution.
- Recruit, coach, and guide a high-performing global team committed to operational discipline and ongoing improvement.
- Work closely with Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Product, Sales, and senior leadership to keep business functions aligned.
- Create and strengthen supplier partnerships that raise service levels, improve efficiency, and protect supply continuity.
- Define and track supply chain KPIs, using data and analytics to guide decisions and refine processes.
- Find ways to improve inventory utilization, transport performance, fulfillment flow, and overall resilience across the network.
- Drive transformation efforts such as process standardization, technology implementation, and modernization of operations.
- Assess market shifts, supplier capabilities, and industry patterns to support planning and reduce risk.
- Manage capacity planning and resource deployment to maintain readiness and business continuity.
- Promote a culture built on collaboration, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement across the global supply chain function.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar field is required; an MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or comparable executive roles.
- Experience leading complex global supply chain operations across multiple regions.
- Deep knowledge of demand planning, inventory optimization, logistics, supplier management, and operational strategy.
- Ability to build scalable supply chain processes and deliver organization-wide operational improvements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data-based approach to decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms, supply chain planning tools, transportation management systems, and business analytics software.
- Comfort working on multiple strategic priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
Preferred background
- Prior leadership of global supply chain operations in manufacturing, technology, retail, consumer products, healthcare, or other complex sectors is preferred.
- Experience in supply chain transformation, digital operations, or global network optimization is an advantage.
- Exposure to rapid growth and international expansion would be beneficial.
- Professional supply chain or operations certifications are considered a plus.
