Role Overview

The Vice President of Global Operations is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for steering operational performance across all regions and business units. The position shapes and implements global operations plans that support business objectives and service expectations.

Key Focus Areas

In this role, you will oversee daily operational processes, improve how resources are assigned, and lead continuous improvement efforts. You will work closely with senior leadership on strategic planning, manage supply chain and vendor partnerships, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives that improve efficiency and support growth. You will also define operational performance metrics, review results against those measures, and guide regional leaders to ensure consistent service quality worldwide.

Qualifications

Successful candidates should bring strong leadership in operations, with experience managing large teams across multiple sites or global environments. A background in supply chain management is important, including vendor oversight, logistics coordination, and process improvement. You should also have experience with long-term strategic planning and with running complex projects that involve multiple teams and must be delivered on schedule and within budget.

Prior senior-level operations experience is preferred, especially within construction, engineering, or similar technical service industries. The role also calls for strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with the confidence to use data and KPIs to shape operational outcomes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, particularly in a remote work setting and in coordination with geographically diverse teams.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. An advanced degree or professional certifications such as PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma are considered advantageous.
