Job Overview

As a senior member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President of Global Operations & Supply Chain will establish and lead a top-tier global operations organization to support T3’s premium brand expansion. This leadership role is responsible for managing sourcing, contract manufacturing, planning, logistics, quality assurance, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), inventory management, and product commercialization across retail, direct-to-consumer (DTC), Amazon, and international markets. The position demands balancing speed, robustness, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience.

Key Duties

  • Formulate and execute a worldwide operations and supply chain strategy directly aligned with the company’s growth plans.
  • Direct the S&OP process including demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, and management of working capital.
  • Develop resilient global sourcing and manufacturing partnerships, ensuring supplier diversification and mitigating tariff risks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally from product conception through to commercialization to drive innovation and successful launches.
  • Enhance gross margins continuously through strategic sourcing and improving operational efficiency.
  • Ensure superior omnichannel fulfillment for retail, DTC, and global distribution channels.
  • Implement AI-supported forecasting, real-time KPIs, and data-driven planning systems.
  • Promote sustainability by adopting responsible sourcing practices and ensuring supplier compliance.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing operations leadership team.

Qualifications

  • 12 to 15+ years of leadership experience in global supply chain management within consumer products.
  • Extensive knowledge of Asia-based manufacturing and international sourcing dynamics.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced planning tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is preferred.
  • Strong innovation orientation with deep understanding of lean methodologies.
  • Preference given to candidates based in the Los Angeles or New York areas.

Responsibilities Detail

  • Define and deploy a global supply chain strategy that supports growth, profitability, and new market entry.
  • Lead S&OP processes integrating demand, supply, production, and inventory plans.
  • Design a flexible, agile supply chain to adapt to market demand changes and geopolitical risks.
  • Create KPIs and dashboards for ongoing operational improvement.
  • Develop sourcing approaches to optimize product quality, cost-efficiency, and speed to market.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiations, and performance management with R&D collaboration.
  • Identify and onboard new manufacturing partners, expanding sourcing options.
  • Manage manufacturing contracts and promote cost-saving initiatives while upholding quality.
  • Oversee global contract manufacturing ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Engineering for manufacturing process enhancements.
  • Drive continuous enhancements in manufacturing operations.
  • Manage demand and supply planning plus inventory control to maintain optimal stock across global distribution centers and international markets.
  • Coordinate with Commercial teams to facilitate retailer launches, promotions, and tailored programs.
  • Balance service expectations with inventory investment and capital management.
  • Supervise logistics activities including shipping, warehousing, and third-party providers to maintain exemplary service levels for key retail partners and distribution channels.
  • Optimize freight and warehouse operations to support scalability and peak demand periods.
  • Lead operations readiness and coordination for product launches alongside Marketing and Sales.
  • Accelerate launch timelines and reduce delays in time-to-market.
  • Support international growth and exclusive retail initiatives.
  • Enhance ERP and planning systems with AI-driven forecasting and analytics tools.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the operations team.
  • Lead and develop talented staff as well as cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Manage the operational budget, investment planning, and capital expenditures to improve profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and supplier standards.
