Job description
Overview
We are partnering with a multi-site healthcare platform undergoing expansion through organic growth and acquisitions to recruit a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Reporting directly to the CFO, this executive leads financial planning efforts across the organization, steering budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making shaping both operational and strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage enterprise-wide FP&A activities including the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, long-term financial plans, and monthly closing and reporting processes.
- Lead financial modeling and analytical efforts related to mergers and acquisitions, covering due diligence, integration, and monitoring post-acquisition performance against financial projections.
- Collaborate closely with C-suite executives and operational leaders to provide comprehensive financial decision support influencing both daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and lead the FP&A team encompassing financial analysts, business partners, and function-specific finance leaders.
- Implement and maintain financial discipline within operating units by enforcing budget accountability, conducting variance analysis, and monitoring return on investment for significant expenditures.
- Serve as the primary FP&A spokesperson in communications with the board of directors, sponsor groups, and lending institutions during reporting cycles.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses over 12 years of experience in finance and FP&A leadership roles, including previous positions as VP or Director of FP&A within private equity-backed or multi-site environments.
- Demonstrated success in healthcare services or leading financial functions in multi-site service platforms is highly desired.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical evaluation.
- Experience working in PE-backed or institutionally owned companies is strongly preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required; an MBA is favorable.
- Must be US-based and open to business travel when necessary.
Compensation
The salary range is $225,000 to $325,000 annually plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
