Overview
A rapidly expanding senior living organization based in Texas is looking for a Vice President of Finance to lead its finance operations throughout a phase of vigorous growth. This company manages a diverse portfolio of healthcare facilities and is continuing its expansion, offering a significant leadership role to oversee financial functions that drive operational scaling and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire finance function, including financial reporting, forecasting, and ensuring performance transparency across multiple community sites.
- Lead cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting efforts to facilitate ongoing expansion and acquisitions.
- Collaborate closely with ownership on financial strategies, evaluating performance, and influencing key business decisions.
- Support acquisitions and expansions through financial modeling, lender communications, and integration assistance.
- Manage relationships with lenders, fulfill financial reporting obligations, and maintain vendor partnerships.
- Guide and develop the finance team, including offshore members and an offshore Director of Finance.
- Enhance accounts receivable processes, collection efforts, and overall operational finance workflows.
- Ensure accurate and prompt financial reporting across multiple entities and sites.
Required Qualifications
- 8 to 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in finance leadership.
- Demonstrated experience managing finance in multi-site or multi-entity organizations.
- Strong expertise in cash flow oversight, financial reporting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Effective business partnership skills with executive leadership.
- Experience managing or overseeing geographically distributed or offshore finance teams.
- Involvement with acquisitions, integrations, or business growth initiatives.
Preferred Experience
- Background in senior living, assisted living, or the wider healthcare industry.
- Experience with multi-location healthcare or service organizations such as hospitals, dental clinics, therapy centers, or outpatient facilities.
- Familiarity with lenders, debt arrangements, and financial partnerships.
Success Criteria in the First 90 Days
- Enhance visibility and cadence around cash flow and financial reporting.
- Establish a stronger operational rhythm between finance and accounts receivable/collections teams.
- Provide structure and leadership to the existing finance group.
- Support short-term growth and acquisition objectives.
Compensation
Salary will be competitive and aligned with market rates, adjustable according to experience and seniority. The role also qualifies for performance-based bonuses. Detailed compensation information will be shared during interviews.
