As the company expands, it seeks a seasoned and strategic Vice President of Finance to join its executive leadership team.
Position Overview
The Vice President of Finance is a pivotal executive role reporting directly to the President & CEO, responsible for steering global financial strategy, managing accounting functions, conducting financial planning and analysis, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, ensuring regulatory compliance, handling treasury operations, and managing risk to support sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CEO and senior leaders to formulate and execute long-term financial strategies.
- Oversee comprehensive finance operations including accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, payroll, tax, compliance, and financial reporting.
- Deliver strategic financial insights to drive business expansion, investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports to executives.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax laws, and all relevant financial regulations.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, capital allocation, and optimize working capital.
- Lead the annual budget formulation and set financial KPIs across the company.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls, corporate governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, insurers, and other stakeholders.
- Direct annual audits, tax submissions, and regulatory compliance reporting.
- Support financial aspects of pricing strategies, contract reviews, customer agreements, and vendor partnerships.
- Conduct financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investment prospects.
- Implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency and profitability.
- Lead financial planning for domestic and international operations, including multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Prepare financial presentations for board meetings and executive leadership.
- Monitor industry trends and identify financial risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 12 to 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance.
- Minimum five years in executive finance roles such as Vice President of Finance, Controller, or CFO.
- Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and corporate finance.
- Experience leading audits and managing banking relationships.
- Knowledge of international, multi-entity financial operations.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Excellent leadership abilities, communication, and presentation skills at the executive level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
- Preferred qualifications include CPA or MBA, experience in Healthcare IT, SaaS, medical imaging, familiarity with recurring revenue business models, revenue recognition, subscription-based finance, mergers & acquisitions, fundraising, private equity, and ERP/accounting software such as QuickBooks.
