Overview
The Vice President of Digital Transformation serves as a top-tier executive driving the organization's comprehensive digital change initiatives. This pivotal role oversees technology modernization, intelligent automation, and innovative business strategies, focusing on leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), cloud solutions, robotic process automation (RPA), advanced analytics, and enterprise digital platforms. The ultimate goal is to overhaul business processes, elevate customer interactions, enhance organizational effectiveness, and fuel sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement enterprise-wide digital transformation plans aligned with corporate goals and long-term growth strategies.
- Design multi-year technology roadmaps to upgrade capabilities across departments.
- Prioritize digital investments by assessing business impact, return on investment, and readiness.
- Set governance protocols to ensure seamless transformation across global business units.
- Lead business process redesign and shift operating models by integrating Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices enabled by digital tools.
- Spot automation prospects to boost efficiency, quality, productivity, and scalability.
- Standardize processes enterprise-wide while fostering organizational agility.
- Manage adoption of AI, ML, Generative AI, cloud infrastructure, Internet of Things (IoT), intelligent automation, cybersecurity, ERP, CRM, and collaboration platforms.
- Scout emerging technologies to identify innovation that supports competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with tech teams to evolve the enterprise architecture.
- Promote a culture of innovation throughout the company.
- Develop data strategies to enhance intelligent decision-making and expand predictive analytics, business intelligence, and AI-driven insights.
- Improve data governance, quality, privacy, and security.
- Build scalable data solutions supporting organizational growth.
- Partner with product, marketing, sales, customer success, and operations teams to enhance digital customer experiences and lead omnichannel transformation initiatives.

- Steer enterprise-wide change management to support digital adoption.
- Create executive communications fostering alignment and collaboration.
- Work with HR to cultivate digital skills through training and leadership development.
- Instill a culture of innovation, collaboration, ongoing learning, and data-centric decision-making.
- Define KPIs to track transformation progress, operational efficiency, technology use, customer experience, innovation, and financial performance.
- Oversee transformation portfolios, budget management, vendor negotiations, and consulting engagements.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including Digital Transformation Directors, Enterprise Architects, PMO leaders, Data Analytics, Automation specialists, and Business Transformation executives.
- Report to executive leadership and board members on strategies, progress, investments, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile, SAFe, Lean Six Sigma, TOGAF, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are advantageous.
- At least 15 to 20 years of progressive leadership experience in digital transformation, enterprise technology, business transformation, operations, consulting, or strategic program leadership.
- Proven track record spearheading enterprise-scale digital transformation across multinational organizations.
- Deep expertise in AI, cloud computing, enterprise systems, data analytics, cybersecurity, organizational change management, and executive leadership.
- Exceptional skills in strategy formulation, communication, financial oversight, stakeholder management, and cross-department collaboration.
