About the Role

This leadership position is for a partner company seeking a Vice President of Customer Success based in the United States. The role offers an exceptional chance to design and expand a top-tier Customer Success team within a fast-growing identity security company. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining customer success strategies, enhancing post-sales experiences, and increasing long-term retention and growth of customers. The job blends strategic leadership with operational execution and requires collaboration across customer-facing departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the vision, strategy, and operational framework for the Customer Success division, emphasizing customer retention, adoption, and delivering value.
  • Lead and nurture a high-performing team to ensure successful customer onboarding, implementation, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to uncover and promote opportunities for revenue growth through additional licenses, increasing product use, and cross-selling.
  • Work with Customer Support, Product, Engineering, and other groups to eliminate challenges customers face and enhance their overall experience.
  • Create scalable processes and improve operational efficiency in onboarding, implementation, and customer support.
  • Measure customer satisfaction through feedback strategies, analyze results, and implement programs to boost loyalty and advocacy.
  • Encourage product adoption via targeted training, enablement efforts, and active customer engagement.
  • Serve as the customers' advocate by sharing insights, success stories, and market feedback internally and externally.
  • Forge strong ties with enterprise clients and executive stakeholders to guarantee positive outcomes and enduring partnerships.
  • Utilize data and performance indicators to continuously refine Customer Success operations and demonstrate business impact.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in customer-facing roles, preferably within SaaS, technology, cybersecurity, or subscription-based businesses.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling Customer Success teams and managing post-sales functions.
  • Deep understanding of customer lifecycle management including adoption, retention, and revenue expansion.
  • Experience in both pre-sales and post-sales environments is highly advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including communication, negotiation, collaboration, and consensus building.
  • Customer-centric mindset focused on delivering measurable business results and revenue growth.
  • Analytical thinker skilled in creating scalable operational frameworks and process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, promote continuous improvement, and thrive in dynamic settings.
  • Inspirational leader with excellent mentorship and motivational capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and executive-level presentation skills.
