About the Role
Impact Staffing International is recruiting a Vice President of Business Development to join the executive team of a client company. This key leadership position focuses on driving strategic business growth, broadening major client relationships, and establishing the company as a preferred partner in the construction sector and related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement business development strategies to increase revenue across the U.S.
- Cultivate and deepen relationships with leading construction organizations and strategic partners.
- Seek ways to uniquely position the company and enhance its reputation within the industry.
- Lead client relationship management with an emphasis on growing current accounts and pursuing selective new business.
- Oversee the entire sales process from initial contact through contract signing; sales cycles typically last between two weeks and three months.
- Combine business development tasks with coordinating operational activities essential to project execution post-sale.
- Utilize market analytics and insights to create targeted strategies for business expansion.
- Identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities in target markets alongside maintaining existing customer relationships.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to a developing business development and sales team.
- Represent the company professionally through networking events, client engagements, and industry activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Established track record in business development within the construction industry or related sectors.
- Well-established network with key players in major construction firms.
- Proven success in strategic and relationship-driven sales.
- Demonstrable ability to build lasting client relationships and grow existing accounts.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in mentoring and managing a dynamic sales team.
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and building relationships.
- Business savvy with the ability to leverage market data and strategic planning to promote growth.
- Capability to oversee sales processes and operational functions to ensure smooth project transitions after sales closure.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
Position Details
- Location: Las Colinas, Texas
- Work Schedule: Full-time onsite, Monday through Friday.
- Territory: Nationwide in the United States.
- Travel Requirements: Minimal, about one to two trips monthly.
- Sales Focus Ratio: 80% relationship management and expanding existing business, 20% new client acquisition.
