Opportunity Overview
A fast-growing real estate investment platform is hiring a Vice President of Acquisitions to help expand its manufactured housing investment business. The role sits within real estate private equity and focuses on one of the most durable and rapidly expanding asset classes in the sector.
This is a high-visibility position with direct access to senior leaders. The successful candidate will own transactions from initial sourcing through closing and will also contribute to the firm’s broader growth strategy.
Role Summary
The Vice President will lead acquisitions across a nationwide manufactured housing portfolio. The position requires responsibility for sourcing, underwriting, transaction structuring, and end-to-end deal execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the full acquisitions workflow, from origination to closing.
- Find opportunities through broker networks, direct owner outreach, and proprietary sourcing channels.
- Build and review financial models, underwriting analyses, and investment cases.
- Structure transactions, including both debt and equity components.
- Draft and deliver investment memos for senior leadership and the investment committee.
- Perform market analysis, site visits, and due diligence.
- Work closely with asset management, operations, and finance teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, property owners, and capital providers.
- Help shape overall investment direction and portfolio expansion.
Qualifications
- 8 to 12+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investments, or private equity.
- Advanced financial modeling and underwriting capabilities.
- Demonstrated track record of completing transactions across the full deal lifecycle.
- Experience with value-add or operationally complex asset classes.
- Comfort working in a lean, entrepreneurial setting.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, especially for deal discussions.
Preferred Background
- Experience in manufactured housing, multifamily, or another alternative asset class.
- Background in a real estate private equity firm, operating company, or family office.
- Exposure to middle-market or programmatic acquisition strategies.
- Experience working inside a vertically integrated platform.
