A leading apparel business is seeking a senior marketing executive to own and scale the global brand marketing and communications direction. The role is focused on building compelling brand stories across the entire customer journey and coordinating marketing efforts tied to seasonal drops, new product launches, special collaborations, public relations, talent and influencer activity, partnerships, events, and retail-facing initiatives. The leader will align global and regional teams around one clear strategy to grow brand relevance, deepen customer connection, and support long-term commercial results.
About the Role
This opportunity is for candidates based in the New York City area only. Relocation support is not available, and the position requires five days a week in Manhattan offices.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead worldwide launch plans for annual, seasonal, and limited-run product releases, keeping execution aligned across channels, regions, and partner groups.
- Serve as the main connector between marketing and cross-functional teams so priorities remain tied to broader brand and category goals.
- Build integrated marketing programs that combine brand messaging, digital storytelling, media planning, and communications for both internal and external audiences.
- Oversee global PR and influencer activity, including agency management, talent relationships, product seeding/placement, and visibility initiatives.
- Partner with digital and social media teams to create content approaches that improve awareness, engagement, and business outcomes.
- Identify, structure, and manage collaborations, sponsorships, partnerships, and live events that increase cultural relevance and market reach.
- Evaluate campaign performance and ROI, using data and insights to refine future marketing efforts.
- Work with creative teams on campaign development and execution, including concepting, production, budgeting, photoshoots, and global asset rollout.
- Act as the senior marketing lead for licensees and external partners, ensuring clear communication and consistent brand standards.
- Coordinate with internal marketing and category leaders so each product area is supported by connected, thoughtful marketing plans.
- Collaborate with eCommerce teams to enhance site experience, content display, and digital merchandising in ways that improve conversion.
- Partner across design, merchandising, planning, retail operations, licensee teams, and international franchise groups to deliver initiatives successfully.
- Drive reporting and marketing analytics to improve efficiency and increase overall impact.
- Provide senior-level strategic marketing input across additional business areas as needed.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in international brand marketing, including leadership of large-scale campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong experience in digital commerce, online marketing strategy, and omnichannel retail environments.
- Demonstrated success leading PR, influencer strategy, and celebrity or talent partnerships across global markets.
- Proven ability to build and execute high-value collaboration and partnership programs.
- Experience working with international teams, outside agencies, and licensed business models.
- Strong commercial judgment and analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into practical recommendations.
- Excellent executive presence, communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration ability.
- Experience in workwear, lifestyle, or global fashion/apparel brands is strongly preferred.
