About the Role
This position is for an investment product specialist Vice President to support the iDirect fund lineup across the Middle East. The role reports to the Head of International, iDirect in Hong Kong and focuses on driving regional business development strategy, product sales, and advisor education for private banks, single- and multi-family offices, brokerage firms, and wealth management platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Use a consultative selling approach to win new business, grow existing client relationships, and support assets under management.
- Build strong expertise in iDirect solutions across private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and future product offerings, along with the ability to compare these products clearly.
- Travel to target markets to meet gatekeepers, advisors, industry bodies, and end clients, supporting both sales and education efforts.
- Help plan and run roadshows and conferences.
- Partner with regional Client Solutions team members on pitches, product positioning, and sales campaigns.
- Use technology tools and reporting systems to assist with sales management and tracking.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in alternative investments in a client-facing role, such as investor relations, distribution, fund of funds, placement agents, or asset management with alternative investment products.
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial setting while following a disciplined sales process.
- Strong teamwork mindset, with excellent organization and interpersonal ability, especially in cross-border and small-team environments.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills, plus strong spoken and written communication abilities.
- Local regulatory licensing is mandatory.
- Language skills relevant to the market are an advantage.
Work Arrangement
The position follows a hybrid structure: in-office work from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Friday.
