About the Role
This senior leadership opportunity is for a Vice President of Human Resources who can shape company-wide people strategy and influence business outcomes. The position calls for a seasoned HR executive with strong experience in organizational planning, talent leadership, employee experience, and regulatory compliance.
The right candidate will work closely with top leadership to connect human capital priorities with broader business goals, while helping build a high-performing, accountable workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leaders, ensuring HR programs and priorities support the organization’s long-term direction.
- Direct the full HR agenda, covering hiring, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, pay, and benefits.
- Create and implement people strategies that strengthen growth, retention, and overall organizational performance.
- Advise senior leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and building future leadership capability.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a strong HR team while encouraging ownership, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
- Lead efforts that improve employee engagement, shape company culture, and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and reduce organizational risk.
- Review HR data, trends, and metrics to support executive decisions with clear insights and recommendations.
- Work across departments on business transformation, change management, and organizational design efforts.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 to 7 years in a senior leadership or executive-level role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Proven ability to design and execute HR strategies that contribute to business expansion and operational excellence.
- Strong executive presence with excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional leaders.
- Solid understanding of employment law, compliance obligations, and modern HR practices.
- Background in leading change, talent development, and culture transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with experience using HR data to guide decisions.
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR is preferred.
Compensation
Base salary starts at $175,000+, depending on experience.
