About the Role
Spiniello Companies seeks a seasoned construction executive to lead their Washington DC Business Unit, a key segment of the company known for its strong client base, robust backlog, and expanding project delivery models. This leadership position offers significant autonomy, responsibility for business outcomes, and the ability to influence strategy and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct overall performance and operations of the Washington DC Business Unit.
- Manage financial aspects including revenue growth, profitability, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Formulate and implement strategic business plans aligned with company goals.
- Lead and oversee project leadership teams to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Expand company presence through collaborative alternative delivery models like CMAR and Design-Build.
- Develop and sustain executive relationships with clients, utilities, public agencies, and industry stakeholders.
- Recruit, mentor, and nurture talent to support succession planning and leadership growth.
Qualifications
- At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in construction or related sectors.
- Proven success leading large operational teams and managing extensive project portfolios.
- Strong financial management skills including P&L responsibility and operational planning.
- Track record of business development and client relationship management.
- Experience with infrastructure, utility, water, wastewater, heavy civil, or transportation projects.
- Preferred experience includes alternative delivery methods (CMAR, Design-Build), established regional relationships, and a relevant bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary ranging from $250,000 to $300,000+, commensurate with experience and expertise.
