Role Overview
The Vice President will spearhead major finance transformation efforts aimed at modernizing the Finance function across the enterprise. This executive role focuses on harmonizing business strategies, technological advancements, and operational excellence to elevate organizational performance. The position involves close collaboration with senior leaders from Finance, Technology, and Operations to design and implement long-term transformation strategies intended to boost organizational effectiveness, governance, and readiness for future expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement long-term Finance strategies that align with corporate goals and advance Finance capabilities.
- Manage end-to-end transformation programs ensuring achievement of quantifiable business outcomes and lasting adoption of changes.
- Work with executive leadership to define future operating models and refine organizational design to maximize Finance team performance.
- Provide strategic support and guidance to teams in accounting, controllership, planning, and shared services while promoting cross-functional alignment.
- Govern extensive program portfolios by setting structures, tracking progress, addressing risks, and resolving implementation obstacles.
- Lead culture change initiatives fostering adaptability, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
Business Process & Transformation Leadership
- Create scalable frameworks that enhance operational efficiency, standardization, and collaboration across functions.
- Convert business priorities into actionable process refinements and technology-driven solutions.
- Conduct cross-departmental workshops to analyze current processes, outline future capabilities, and support executive-level decision-making.
- Streamline core financial workflows by minimizing manual interventions and improving system integrations.
- Balance transformation efforts with operational, regulatory, and strategic business needs.
- Collaborate with technology leaders to assess solutions, chart implementation plans, and guide technology investments.
Digital Innovation & Intelligent Automation
- Drive the Finance modernization agenda by embracing emerging technologies, automation, and enhanced data analytics.
- Identify how AI and advanced analytics can be leveraged to refine forecasting accuracy, financial insight generation, and operational processes.
- Support enterprise-wide data initiatives to improve reporting quality and business intelligence.
- Lead redesign of workflows anchored in automation-first principles to increase productivity and scalability.
- Encourage digital skill development and technology adoption within Finance to promote analytical thinking and lifelong learning.
- Stay informed about new technologies and best practices to enhance Finance's strategic contribution to the organization.
Additional Information
This position requires a hybrid work schedule, with 2 to 3 days per week expected at the midtown Manhattan office location. The salary range offered for this role is between $150,000 and $210,000 annually, dependent on experience.
