Vice President Finance

Role Overview

3 Bridge Networks is working with a rapidly expanding investment firm that sits at the crossroads of private equity and venture capital to find a Vice President of Finance. This is a high-visibility leadership position that partners closely with the firm’s leadership and investment professionals while helping build the finance foundation needed for continued scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage finance and accounting activities for both the management company and the investment funds.
• Direct the quarterly and annual reporting cycle, including working with external fund administrators to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash management for the management company, and contribute to broader firm financial planning.
• Act as a primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, fund administrators, and other external finance vendors.
• Support capital raising and investor relations work such as LP reporting, due diligence requests, and investor communication materials.
• Work alongside the investment team to deliver financial analysis on firm performance, fund economics, and strategic priorities.
• Build and refine finance workflows, controls, and reporting systems that can scale with the business.
• Lead, coach, and develop finance and accounting team members to strengthen the overall finance function.
• Contribute to strategic efforts including new fund formation, process improvements, and broader growth initiatives.

Ideal Background

The preferred candidate brings more than 10 years of finance or accounting experience, ideally from private equity, venture capital, or another alternative investment setting. A strong grasp of fund structures, management company accounting, carried interest, and LP reporting is important.

Experience collaborating with investment partners and senior executives in a fast-moving environment is expected, along with a track record of managing relationships with fund administrators, auditors, and tax professionals. A CPA is strongly preferred, though not mandatory.

The role suits someone who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment where processes are still being shaped. Clear communication skills are essential for working effectively with both internal leadership and outside investors.
