Role Overview
A high-growth publicly listed technology firm is looking to appoint a Vice President of Finance to act as a strategic finance leader and key partner to executive leadership. This role involves leading enterprise FP&A activities, delivering advanced financial insights to executives, supporting long-term strategic planning, and influencing decision-making amid rapid expansion.
Key Duties
- Oversee company-wide financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Collaborate closely with executive leaders to provide strategic financial guidance and data-driven recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive board reports, KPI dashboards, and presentations for executive audiences.
- Develop financial models for guiding strategic projects, investment decisions, and evaluating business performance.
- Enhance the accuracy of forecasting, refine planning methods, and optimize financial systems.
- Manage and cultivate a high-performing FP&A team through leadership and mentorship.
- Partner cross-functionally with departments including Accounting, Operations, Sales, Product, and Investor Relations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 15 years demonstrating progressive leadership roles in finance and FP&A.
- Proven experience in leading financial planning and analysis within software, SaaS, or technology industries.
- Full P&L responsibility experience overseeing revenue to EBITDA with a minimum threshold of $400 million.
- Strong presence in executive environments with prior involvement in C-suite support and Board-level reporting.
- Deep knowledge and skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic business partnering.
- Successful history of building and leading high-performance finance teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; advanced qualifications such as MBA and/or CPA are preferred.
