  • Build agreement across teams and turn strategy into practical execution plans.
  • Bring a strong, independent perspective to senior leaders on major business decisions.
  • Drive enterprise planning efforts that define the outlook for the business and guide capital allocation.
  • Work with Finance, Investor Relations, and business leaders to align on targets, scenarios, and long-term priorities.
  • Formulate views on growth, risk, and trade-offs that affect the company.
  • Review the portfolio through strategic and financial lenses to uncover ways to improve value and reduce risk.
  • Spot both incremental and transformational growth possibilities across existing businesses and adjacent markets.
  • Evaluate long-term performance and support decisions that improve returns and enterprise value.
  • Assess M&A, partnership, and new business opportunities in core and related sectors.
  • Partner with Corporate Development and outside advisors to support decisions and execution.
  • Study opportunities within current businesses, adjacencies, and new growth areas.
  • Lead competitive research and benchmarking to inform corporate strategy.
  • Build a clear perspective on the changing market and Disney’s ability to compete and succeed.
  • Track emerging trends such as technology and consumer behavior and translate them into strategic implications.
  • Collaborate across segments, Investor Relations, FP&A, and Corporate Development to maintain alignment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on critical business choices.
  • Develop strong relationships across the company to support effective decision-making and execution.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing strategy team with accountability and clear ownership.
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and development-focused team culture.
  • Coach team members and create opportunities that help build future strategy leaders.

What We’re Looking For

  • 15 or more years of experience in corporate strategy, consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale strategy work and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong financial skills, including modeling, valuation, and capital allocation analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and sharp analytical thinking.
  • Strong communication skills, including executive-level storytelling and presentations.
  • Experience in media, entertainment, or technology is preferred.
  • Background in corporate strategy, business development, or investment-related roles is preferred.
  • An MBA or comparable advanced degree is preferred.
  • Ability to simplify complexity into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong business judgment with a focus on long-term value creation.
  • Ability to align diverse stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • A collaborative, low-ego leadership style that performs well in a high-expectation team environment.
