Role overview

BNY is hiring a Vice President for its Client Operations team in Dublin. The position sits within a global financial services organisation that supports clients with technology-enabled solutions and plays a significant role in the world’s investible assets. What you will do

  • Partner with external clients to work through complex day-to-day matters related to assigned collateralised loan obligations (CLOs) and/or loan portfolios, with a strong focus on client experience.
  • Guide team members in supporting key clients, resolving advanced operational and technical issues, and ensuring client requests are completed accurately.
  • Use strong judgement, experience, and analytical thinking to assess information and resolve problems.
  • Communicate effectively with a specialist client group and provide a consistently high level of service.
  • Help clients identify business needs and connect them with the right internal BNY resources.
  • Act as an escalation contact for difficult or unusual client issues and inquiries.
  • Apply a broad understanding of BNY’s products and services to suggest additional solutions for front-office review.
  • Take part in internal initiatives aimed at improving the client experience.
  • Support the development of better processes by applying client service best practices and knowledge of client requirements.
  • Coach and support less experienced colleagues.
  • Manage multiple complex client relationships and accounts.

What BNY is looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or professional qualification is an advantage.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Corporate Trust or a related financial markets/securities environment.
  • Strong preference for candidates with a Corporate Trust and CLO/CDO background.
  • Prior experience in client service or loan operations within financial services is highly desirable.
  • Experience in finance/accounting, compliance/reporting, or reconciliation is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical ability and a sound approach to solving complex problems and making decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of client service operations, industry regulations, and standards.
  • Comfort using AI in operational workflows is a plus.
