Job description

About the Role

iCapital is seeking an experienced Vice President to lead client delivery within the Annuities Platform team. This senior leadership role focuses on steering multiple client implementations and ongoing delivery portfolios to achieve successful outcomes, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining strong operational governance.

The role demands a highly organized and detail-oriented leader capable of managing delivery teams across concurrent projects, collaborating with clients and internal teams to clarify priorities, mitigate risks early, and fulfill commitments. The incumbent will play a central role in refining processes and operating models to enable scalable and efficient client delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own delivery strategies for assigned client portfolios, building trusted relationships aligned with client business goals.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery for multiple client implementations, overseeing scope, timelines, quality, risk management, and key stakeholder communication.
  • Supervise and develop teams including Project Managers and Business Analysts to ensure clarity, accountability, and consistent execution.
  • Implement robust delivery governance frameworks with established decision-making channels, escalation procedures, change control, and portfolio health reporting.
  • Navigate delivery trade-offs balancing scope, schedule, resources, commercial factors, and client value.
  • Proactively identify risks, resolve complex issues, and promote solutions that safeguard delivery quality and scalability.
  • Oversee portfolio financials, including profit and loss, margin targets, revenue tracking, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide executive reporting on portfolio status, risks, scope changes, dependencies, milestones, and required actions.
  • Collaborate with Product to translate client feedback and recurring issues into actionable improvements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Operations, and Product teams to optimize handoffs, align expectations, and address dependencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for delivery processes, playbooks, metrics, automation, and operational best practices.
  • Explore opportunities to enhance client value while maintaining transparency about delivery commitments, scope, and commercial impacts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years in client delivery, program management, or professional services leadership in SaaS, technology, financial services, or similarly complex sectors.
  • Proven track record managing complex client implementations with responsibility for quality, timeline, scope, client satisfaction, and outcomes.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to foster trust with senior stakeholders and lead critical decision-making discussions.
  • Experience in scope management, governance enforcement, stakeholder accountability, and disciplined delivery execution.
  • Skill in diagnosing delivery challenges, finding root causes, and deploying practical, scalable solutions.
  • Collaborative experience working with Product teams to convert client insights and implementation feedback into prioritization inputs.
  • Demonstrated ability to create or enhance delivery processes, governance models, playbooks, metrics, and operational rhythms.
  • Leadership experience developing teams of project managers, analysts, and delivery consultants.
  • Strong financial acumen related to delivery P&L management, margin and revenue oversight, and resource planning.
  • Excellent organizational skills managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with project and portfolio management tools like Jira, Kantata, or equivalent software.
