About the Role
iCapital is seeking a Relationship Manager to join its Enterprise Solutions team, with a focus on Asset Managers and General Partners. This senior-level, technically-oriented position is crucial in sustaining and expanding existing client relationships as well as scouting new business possibilities. The role involves providing comprehensive support and enabling the adoption of iCapital’s technology solutions tailored for Asset Managers and General Partners. Additionally, the individual will help optimize the marketplace positioning and devise the go-to-market strategy across various business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture new and existing relationships with Asset and Wealth Managers while supporting fellow Relationship Managers.
- Serve as the primary Relationship Manager for select strategic asset and wealth management clients.
- Conduct platform and system demonstrations for potential clients, lead responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners on fund launches, closures, and strategic projects.
- Partner with other Relationship Managers and senior leadership to advance sales strategies, business development initiatives, CRM technology usage, and marketing efforts.
- Lead internal projects, establish frameworks, and create processes to enhance team management.
- Prepare detailed presentations rich in data and analysis for internal discussions and projects.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Solutions team to define effective success metrics.
Professional Qualifications
- Between 12 to 15+ years experience in business development or relationship management, preferably with an emphasis on enterprise or technology sales.
- Well-versed in alternative investment products and strategies.
- Prior direct experience working within or alongside Asset Management or Wealth Management companies is strongly preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication capabilities.
- A strategic thinker capable of working autonomously.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent client service to stakeholders and clients.
- Holding Series 7 and 63 professional licenses is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary offer ranges from $160,000 to $230,000 annually. The total compensation package includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Work Schedule and Location
Employees are expected to work onsite in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays, emphasizing collaboration and innovation through in-person interaction.
