Job description

Role overview

This senior commercial leadership role is responsible for steering the Channel & Components business across EMEA. You will define the regional growth agenda, turn strategy into execution, and lead through a complex, multi-country sales structure.

The position reports into the VP, EMEA Sales & Marketing and carries end-to-end accountability for revenue growth, margin improvement, strategic share gains, key account development, and commercial transformation across wholesale distribution, MOEM, brand label/private label, and eCommerce channels.

You will act as the main regional champion for channel strategy, aligning local market priorities with global business goals, portfolio choices, and long-term investment decisions.

Commercial leadership

You will own the EMEA channel and components strategy, ensuring it supports enterprise growth objectives. The role includes full responsibility for regional commercial outcomes such as revenue, profitability, market share, product mix, and the long-term strength of channel positioning.

A key part of the job is translating global strategy into practical regional plans that can be implemented consistently across countries. This includes shaping channel structure, pricing approach, portfolio focus, and route-to-market decisions while anticipating market changes and identifying new growth opportunities.

Key account leadership

You will lead a team of senior Global Account Managers covering the region’s most important distribution partners, MOEM accounts, OEM/private label customers, and major eCommerce platforms. The role requires disciplined account segmentation, executive sponsorship, and multi-year joint business planning to deepen partner relevance and increase share of wallet.

You will also manage direct executive relationships with large, complex, multi-country accounts and lead high-stakes negotiations involving contracts, rebate structures, and long-term partnership agreements.

Matrix and cross-functional leadership

This position operates in a highly matrixed environment, requiring strong influence across in-country sales teams without direct line authority. You will align teams around regional priorities and ensure delivery against shared goals.

You will work closely with marketing, product management, supply chain, pricing, and operations to match capabilities with market needs. The role also serves as the link between global business units and regional sales execution, helping resolve conflicts and maintain a unified go-to-market approach.

Channel development

You will shape and expand the EMEA channel ecosystem by strengthening wholesale distribution, increasing MOEM penetration, and improving the scale and quality of partner-led growth. The role includes defining partner coverage, segmentation, capability expectations, and investment priorities to improve reach and customer access.

You will help grow the brand label/private label business with OEM and MOEM partners and accelerate eCommerce through digital platforms, distributors, and emerging online channels. You will also identify, prioritize, and onboard strategic partners and business models that broaden market reach, strengthen resilience, and support profitable long-term growth.

Operational excellence

You will establish disciplined sales processes across the region, including CRM usage, pipeline management, and forecasting accuracy. The role also requires standardizing account management routines and performance reviews so pricing, promotions, and portfolio decisions are driven by data.

Compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements is an important part of the role.

Team leadership and capability building

You will build, guide, and continuously develop a high-performing team of Global Account Managers. Clear expectations, performance measures, and accountability frameworks will be central to the role.

You will also strengthen strategic selling capabilities across in-country teams so they can operate successfully in a layered, international sales environment.

Location and travel

This position may be based in several locations across the EMEA region and supports a hybrid working pattern. Regular international travel is required for customer engagement, team leadership, and operational alignment.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree or engineering qualification is preferred.

A minimum of 15 years’ experience in B2B commercial leadership is required, ideally within electrical components, power management, or closely related industrial sectors, with substantial exposure to multi-country channel businesses.

Experience should include leadership of large, complex channel operations spanning wholesale distribution, MOEM, and/or OEM ecosystems, along with proven success managing senior sales leaders and global/key account teams in multinational matrix organizations.

Strong capability in contract negotiation, strategic partnerships, and revenue delivery is essential. Experience building and scaling strategic channel models, including eCommerce and partner-led growth in industrial or technical product settings, is also expected.
