About the Role
We are expanding our team and looking for committed Hospitality Supervisors to join us full-time, working alongside our award-winning team at Adelaide Oval. These roles offer an excellent opportunity for experienced hospitality professionals ready to advance their leadership careers.
The Hospitality Supervisor will oversee medium-scale events and assist in training casual staff to ensure outstanding guest experiences. You will be responsible for hospitality delivery not only at Adelaide Oval but also at external venues including functions, events, corporate suites, and facilities.
Key Duties
- Lead front-of-house staff during large-scale functions.
- Manage mid-sized events with direct team leadership.
- Ensure all event requirements from briefs are fulfilled and guest expectations exceeded.
- Work closely with floor and kitchen teams to guarantee seamless service.
- Oversee event setup and teardown operations daily.
- Provide hands-on leadership across a varied 7-day roster, covering events of different types and sizes including major event days.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in the hospitality sector, ideally within convention or banquet environments.
- Ability to anticipate and address guest needs promptly and effectively.
- Good knowledge of dietary requirements for diverse guests.
- Possession of a Responsible Person Badge.
- Strong leadership abilities managing diverse and large teams.
- Comfortable with technology for shift reporting and app-based software use.
- Passion for food and wine.
